BU TRANS MONOLOGUE PROJECT:
Where it began…
The project started as Liana’s senior thesis, the BU Trans Monologue Workshop.
Ten artists participated via Zoom in Liana’s cultivated explorative and decisive exercises that they programmed in efforts to generate authentic material for trans people to use in their monologues and reels in auditions.
The project was granted funds by the CFA SEED Grant at and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program both through Boston University.

CAMP OUT:
Camp Out follows three young men, Riley, Thomas, and Damian hiding out in a United States National Park during March 2020, the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Damian and Thomas flourish into a new friendship that leaves Riley raging with toxic masculinity. While focused on their personal relationships, unintended consequences emerge as Nature watches their every move.
Camp Out was developed through Reground Theatre Collective’s Playwright Summer Camp 2020 program directed by Charlie Chauca.
It was showcased as a live audio play via Zoom in August 2020.
LOVE IN THE VALLEY OF MEXICO:
An adaptation of the ancient Aztec myth of Izta and Popoca set in modern day Puebla, Mexico just before the conspiratorial death of poblana Governor Martha Érika Alonso Hidalgo and her husband, federal Senator Rafael Morena Valle Rosas. In this story, Izta must decide between her lust for ambition and progress versus her love for Popoca.
Love in the Valley of Mexico was selected by Reground Theatre Collective in Boston, MA to for development and a staged reading as part of their From the Ground Up Play Festival. It played at the Central Square Theatre in Cambridge, MA in February 2020.
